ElinMed operates a hybrid preventive cardiology clinical model. Flexible virtual telehealth consultations are available now across New York, Georgia, and Florida, and our in-person Midtown East flagship destination facility is — by confirmed appointment only. All current electronic medical services are provided via secure, encrypted telemedicine pipelines. Dr. Christabel Elinsa Nyange, MD, MPH, FACC is licensed to practice medicine in New York State, Georgia, and is a registered out-of-state telehealth provider in Florida.
To use ElinMed's services, you must: be a resident of or physically located in New York, Georgia, or Florida at the time of your appointment; be at least 18 years of age (minors must have parental or guardian consent); have access to reliable internet and a device capable of video conferencing; and provide accurate, complete medical information.
ElinMed is a cash-pay, direct-pay practice. We do not bill insurance companies directly. Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit and debit cards. We provide detailed superbills upon request for potential insurance reimbursement.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged the full appointment fee.
Refund Policy: Refunds for completed consultations are not provided. If technical difficulties prevent a visit from occurring, you will not be charged.
Dr. Nyange may prescribe medications when clinically appropriate, following applicable state prescribing laws. ElinMed cannot guarantee prescription fulfillment and does not prescribe controlled substances via telehealth. Prescriptions are sent electronically to your designated pharmacy.
You have the right to request copies of your medical records. Records will be provided within 30 days of a written request. A reasonable fee may be charged for copying.
Telehealth has inherent limitations. Dr. Nyange cannot perform physical examinations. Some conditions require in-person evaluation, diagnostic testing, or emergency care that telehealth cannot provide. ElinMed will refer you to in-person care when clinically appropriate.
